Subj: Lesbian and Gay Bands of America to meet in Indianapolis
Date: Mon, 17 Jul 1995 09:13:32 -0400

(Please excuse my shotgun approach to try to reach people who may be on your
list. If you are not interested, please ignore this posting.)

Lesbian and Gay Bands of America (LGBA) will be meeting in Indianapolis on
September 29, 30 and October 1, 1995. PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians
and Gays) will be meeting at the same time, giving us a great opportunity to
perform for our most appreciative audiences.

You are welcome to be a part of this fun weekend in Indy. We are most
interested in attracted people from the number of cities within driving
distance to Indy that do not currently have gay & lesbian bands. The music
will be fun, but easy enough that we can put it together in just one
rehearsal (and we will get it out in advance, if you need to bone up!).

For registration information send me your name and street address and I will
rush the info out to you. Conference fees are pretty minimal and there will
be plenty of opportunities to learn and talk to others about how you may
start a band in your own community.

LGBA is an association of gay and lesbian bands from across North America.
We meet semi-annually to support our member bands and plan for large
national and international event.

We have performed at Gay Games II, III, IV; Stonewall 15 and 25, and the 1993
Presidential Inaugural, San Francisco's Chinese New Year's Parade and
Denver's St Patricks Day Parade - twice!

Join the fun, whether it's just for the weekend or whatever!!
