Clark Fobes recently commented on the age of some Albert system Buffets based
on when a company did business. I thought I would send this request to the
list as well, to get any information possible on the following instruments
from Clark or others:

1. An A/Bb pair of Boehms by J. Gras., Lille (although one of the bells
indicates Paris, rather than Lille). The interesting part is that the bells
are stamped, "Fillmore Music House, Agents, Cin., O.". These are apparently
at A @-----.

2. An Eb Boehm by F. Barbier, Paris, also at A @-----. The bell also
includes the wording, "Sponsered by Selmer".

Any information, history, anecdotes etc. about these instruments or makers
would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Don Yungkurth (DYungkurth@-----.com)
