Tammi Spencer asked for unaccompanied clarinet suggestions. One not
mentioned so far is, "Studie fur Klarinette", by Gaetano Donizetti of opera
fame. This is six pages of unrelenting allegro in 4/4 time in one movement,
but it does break into sections so that less than the whole work could be
played. Without the repeat it would take about 4.5 minutes at 120/min. This
is clearly a classical work - it sounds a bit like Czerny for the clarinet,
but I like it! It might be appropriate, depending on what else you are
playing.
