Hi! I just subscribed today, and I don't want to be labeled a "lurker,"
so I thought I'd post a note saying hi and introducing myself. My name
is Carolyn Kavan, and I'm a second year clarinet student at the
University of Nebraska at Omaha. I play in the wind ensemble here; we
have a trip to Europe (Germany, Austria, Czech Republic) planned for next
spring--yea!

Thanks, Rick Faria, for your message on glissing. I've been trying to
teach myself how to do that, and I can't wait to try what you said.

Is there anybody else out there from Nebraska?
