Neil,

Thanks for your very thoughtful response to my query on tongue position.
You have aleviated my concern and I feel more comfortable and confident
in what I'm doing. I kind of suspected that the various bits of advice
were an ideal or concept to work toward contingent upon ones own anatomy.
But it helps to hear it voiced.

I do like the "teeww" better than the "too" or "doo" or "tuh" or "duh" and
others that I've heard. Adding the "eeww" seems to bring the tongue up and
close to the reed after the articulation and simultaneously raise the back
of the tongue, which seems to be the general direction recommended.

I'll be doing a lot of "teeww"ing ... but in moderation!
