After putzing around with the listserv database, I received
quite a bit of information about glissandos, but nothing regarding
how to develop a technique for a clarinet gliss. So far
I've been practicing vibrato, lip bends and sliding my fingers
off the keys to 'smear' the sounds, but am unacquainted with
"hooking" (?), which was mentioned in one of the database searches.

Any good hints as to where to start, how to practice, etc?

With a cheerful and gracious Thank You in Advance,
