In response to DePeyer's version of the Saint-Saens Sonata....

I have never heard it, but when I read the posting about it, I was dumbfounded.
As a high school senior I played that movement for my college auditions!

I find it incredibly unsettling whenever I hear any recording having any
mistakes.
