I am interested in obtaining and learning how to play the chalumeau,
since I have heard that it is quite simple for clarinetists to play. Does
anyone have a particular favorite maker or place to buy one?

Also, I have been told that David Ross, Professor of Clarinet at the
University of Texas at El Paso wrote a dissertation over the chalumeau
while at the University of Iowa. Do any of you know where I can find this
paper?
