Susan,
I don't know where Indiana U of PA is but if you are in the
Pittsburgh area, Volkwein's music used to be quite complete. And if you
are in the Philly area, you're near Weiner's in New York and Chuck Levin's
Washington Music Center near DC and, of course, Marks Music in Buhl's
Farm. They have an ad in the Clarinet. In my experience, Weiner and Levin's
are both ridiculously cheap because of their volume and low overhead. As
for all the others, they are probably not much more expensive but I don't
know how many instruments they might have on hand to chose from. I know
that both Levin's and Weiner usually have at least half a dozen Buffet a
& B-flat horns at any one time. Good luck.
