If you mean the numbers of hours per week worldwide for which clarinets are
played, then the B flat IS by far the most used instrument. Howver, there are
lots of A parts in classical orchestral & chamber music - and plenty of C
parts, too. The B flat prevails because it is used exclusively in some kinds of
music, e.g., jazz, as far as I know, and likewise wind bands.
