This isn't strictly a clarinet-related question, but here goes:

Does anyone know anything about a high school band from the Dallas, TX area
that was supposedly truly phenomenal back in the early to mid 1970s. I've
heard they played transcriptions of The Rite of Spring & Concerto for
Orchestra, as well as giving some amazing performances of some of Mark
Hindsley's transcriptions. There is reputed to be a set of CD's with some of
their work that has been recently released.

Any information about the school, the conductor or leads on the CD would be
appreciated.
