Another book to check out is Pamela Weston's "Clarinet Virtuosi of the
Past" (I don't think anyone else has mentioned it yet). As the name
implies, it focusses on clarinetists rather than the instrument itself,
which as far as I'm concerned is much more interesting... :-)
