Having missed the military, I wouldn't know "last post", but Joe Allard
could do a pretty mean "Reville" fingering 3rd line B and manipulating
the harmonics - also on C, C#, and D! His flexibilty on the clarinet was
astounding, and to the limited extent that I learned it, it is very
useful to me.
