A month ago there was a string on jazz methods for the clarinet. Today, I
received an announcement of Jamey Aebersold's schedule of summer workshops
for 1995. I went to one of these a couple of years ago and I can tell you
that they are definately worth the trip if you are beginner to amateur.

Dates and locations for two day "mini" workshops:

June 15-16 Westfield, MA
June 24-25 Elmhurst, IL
July 25-26 Rockville, MD
August 12-13 Pleasant Hill, CA

He also offers two week long jazz summer workshops held at:

Elmhurst, Illinois (Chicago area) June 25 thru 30
Louisville, Kentucky July 2 thru 7.

Daily Schedule for week long sessions:
7:00-8:15 Breakfast
8:30-10;00 Ear Training/Listening/Transcribed Solos
10:00-11:00 Combo Rehearsals
12:00-1:30 Lunch
1:30-3:00 Master Classes for Each Instrument
