A friend of mine just bought an old Buffet A (Albert System) clarinet,
serial #1731 in an "antique" store in Virginia...she paid around $100 for
it. On the bottom of the bell it has, underneath the Buffet seal,
"Fisher NY L___ ___" - anyone know what this means? And does anyone
think she got a real bargain here? I think she thinks she'll be able to
play on it some day... :D

AND does anyone know anyone who would do some work on such a thing?
(Someone with a high level of tolerance, perhaps?!)
