Well you all isnored my other message too. Could a nice persin send me a
reply just so I know you're still getting my mail.

Reeds-what is all the fuss about?? Without wanting to sound a complete
flautist(current derogatory term at 'sleazy's joint'(orchestra)) I really
don't see why you're all soaking them in peroxide, buying them too
soft'hard to make allowances etc., why?? I've tried rico royal ,vandoren
and mitchell lurie, and here is why I don't use them
Rico Royal)OK but it didn't last very long.
Vandoren)nice reed, if you don't put it away. Those cases bite the ends off!
Mitchell Lurie)too expensive and they break really easy

So i use a rico 2. Smart. Nice case, indestructible, and even a flautist
could get a note out of it. They're so easy to use AND they're dirt
cheap! 80p! (work it out). Hope this helps. Reeds are imprtant, but at
the end of the day it's how good a player you are. They won't solve
you're problems!

Frances
PS I've got some reeds from 1969, when my mum played my clarinet. They
still work(just)
PPS, Come on now, nobody could play with a 4(could they?) that's like
sticking a tree trunk in your ligature!
