I've heard Bob Spring play (in performance) up to the Eb above double
high C, and he can probably go higher. The sound is amazingly good, and
I know how he does it--he practices up there every single day.
Remember what Thomas Jefferson said--"Genius is 1% inspiration and 99%
perspiration."
