My own teacher likes _A_Tune_a_Day_ by Carl Herfurth and Hendrickson Book I
for beginning students and Baermann Book II and Langenus Book I for
intermediates. I'm not sure what he uses in between the intermediate level
and the Rose _40_Studies.
