I haven't checked read my postings in well over a month, and with over
650 left to read, I just might get through them all.

But rather than leave a few interested parties hanging, I have indeed
found the Ponchielli arranged for 2 clarinets and band/wind ensemble.

I had e-mailed Fred Ormand at the Univ. of Michigan to see if he had any
leads on this, since I had read he has an interest in Italian clarinet
music. He replied by saying that he had made a successful arrangement of
this, since the original was for brass instruments which no longer
exist. He basically said that the rental was $110 per performance, with
a cut rate for more performances, tours, etc. It is available directly
from him.

He is easy to locate on the gopher.

I hope this helps those parties interested.
