Lisa Clayton's explanation of the bad rep AOL users have gotten
is very interesting.

I think that they have definitely improved since I became a member.
Not only do they provide guidance to their users about proper
ettiquette, but they monitor their forums and if someone commits
a blunder, a form letter is sent to the offender explaining their
gaff. If the offender continues to offend, they will lose their
account.
