Frances,
If you refer to my posting a few days ago on Kleazmer, I wrote
about a few mail-order outfits selling Klezmer recordings. In the
mainstream record stores, the only stuff you'll find will be Giora
Feidman, who is well worth getting, so no problem there. However, for a
more "traditional" (whatever that means) sound, check out a company called
Global Village in New York City, who released quite a few excellent old
remasters, as well as compilations.
