I'm surprised no one's mentioned two of my favorite recordings
on the clarinet since I've started collecting based on the advice
and wisdom here. A few recordings I definitely CAN'T get enough of:

ERIC DOLPHY: Out to Lunch (plus his Five Spot recordings get a lot
of play too). Makes me fall in love with the bass clarinet all over
again each time I hear him.

DON BYRON: Tuskeegee Experiments
I just got his newest one, Music for Six Musicians, and Klez! (Klezmer
Conservatory Orchestra) that features his clarinet work. Byron
seems to take the clarinet to places I haven't ever heard before.
Listening to him is an education.

I also recently got the recording of the Benny Goodman Sextet
that features Charlie Christian and Lionel Hampton. What an
incredible sense of communication between these three musicians.

I'm also in the process of getting, or just recently got,
Richard Stolzman, Eddie Daniels, Sabine Meyer and Gloria Feldman
based on what I've read here and I'm looking forward to digging
into them whilst entering endless streams of virology data.
