You ARE asking for trouble - if only because the cork on the joints absorbs and
conserves moisture, and, if you take the joints apart, this will give it a
chance to dry out. Otherwise, you may find you CAN'T take it apart even when
you want to, and you may even start a crack because of the swollen cork.
