I understand your reasons for wanting to leave your clarinet assembled, on a
peg, in a corner. There have been times when I was working on music that
needed repeditive practice (is that redundant?) when I wanted to pick the
clarinet up every hour or so and touch base with the music.

In fact, I have done exactly what you suggested. However, I find that the
cork on the tenons quickly becomes compressed and the joints no longer feel
snug as the instrument is dissembled and reassembled. This can happen even
over the course of a half day which is surprising because when I'm actually
playing the clarinet for that period of time the problem doesn't occur. The
cork also doesn't seem to return to its original condition on its own within
a day or so and I usually end up reconditioning it.

Because of the above I no longer leave my clarinet assembled or for any
extended period when it is not being played. I do. however, take it apart
and leave the clarinet in its open case on a table right next to the music
and music stand whenenver I want quick and repeditive access to the
instrument.
