Subj: 5 min solo with orchestra

I was offered an opportunity to perform a clarinet solo with a local
orchestra on a pops/holiday concert scheduled in November. The problem: the
conductor wants something flashy, only five minutes long and cheap (not
rental)! I don't want to turn it down because it may be my last oppotunity
of this kind. Any suggestions?

I've considered:

Jeanjean Variations on Carnival of Venice (too long)
Bassi, Concert Fantasia on themes of Verdi's Rigoletto (even longer)
Jorge Calandrelli Solfegietto Metamorphosis (length ok, but I can't
improvise. My best choice though if I write something out.)
Paganini Perpetual motion (w/circular breathing; too hard and too
short).
Weber, Concertino (too ordinary and too long)

Does anyone know about:

Danzi, Fantasy on La ci darem la mano. (I heard just the ending on the
radio the other day)
Malcolm Arnold Concerto for clarinet: last movement.(rental?)

Seems like an impossible task, but I don't want to loose it. Any help would
be greatly appreciated! I need to know in the next few days.

Thanks in advance.

Tom L.
