Here's a question for the group:
Do I HAVE TO take my clarinet apart every time I play it? Am I asking for
trouble if I leave it put together? (Assuming that I swab it out
thoroughly...) My objective is to have the instrument sitting in the corner,
just waiting for me to pick it up again and play whenever the notion strikes me.

I don't want to hurt the instrument, though. I'm worried that taking the
clarinet apart is somehow necessary for its health and well-being.

Any thoughts and comments on this question?
