He performed here at the U of Washington, and his mouthpiece is the same
one that he advertises in either the Weiner or Woodwind catalog (or both,
maybe). But somehow I don't think that a mouthpiece enables one to go
from a classical-sounding low F#-G trill and glissando up to a jazz sound
high A with wide vibrato and great tone. Listen to the "Breakthrough"
CD, track 1 - he does it in the middle of that somewhere.
