My favorites are long tones (a daily diet, to the dismay of my orchestra
colleagues) and scales, specifically from Hamelin "Gammes et Exercises"
(Leduc). Hamelin scales are at relatively moderate tempi, and develop
control more than blinding speed.
May I point out that a good teacher would help you to organize your work
more productively, and help support you as you "remember" your old
triumphs on the clarinet. A good teacher would never embarass you for
forgetting. I'd go for it as soon as possible.
