Hello.
I have been quiet for a bit, not because my artistic flair and wit
ground to a halt, but simply because not a lot has happened to me.
Anyway, I played with the school orchestra and wind band in Selby Abbey
(great big church) in the first concert of the summer season, and it went
really well. Bydlo was fantastic, and Farandole was-LOUD
(if you mark it ffff, what do you expect. FOUR SHARPS! was pushing it a
bit though, the keys were rock hard and when you're zooming up and down
scales at seven times the speed of light, it is DIFFICULT)
I am going away til Monday, but til then BE ACE GROOVY,
because WER'E CLARINETTISTS AND WE CAN PLAY LOUDER THAN THE BRASS WHEN WE
WANT TO! YEAH!

Frances
Never trust firsts, they have a superiority complex.
the voice of second trumpet part wisdom speaks again.
(but I had clarinet2 for all the other pieces. Slavonic dance was the
only exception)
