I find this view interesting, because I have always found the way the
saxophone is put together to make more sense then the way the clarinet is.
Especially when it comes to fingerings; it's so nice to be able to push the
register key and jump an OCTAVE. That seems to make it a heck of a lot
easier to improvise in both octaves.

What aspects of clarinet technology does the saxophone not take advantage of?
