I guess in the great "musical" scheme of things, clarinetists are technically
pretty lucky; however, it is not an easy instrument to technically master by
any comparison you try to make. It's like comparing apples with oranges.
Get an asshole conductor in front of you who takes the dance section of
Daphnis et Chloe as fast as a bat out of hell, then tell me that the clarinet
has it easy--after that little taste of hell, we'll talk and compare again!
