What Stan Stanford did not mention is that Portland State University has a
very
outstanding composition faculty. Tomas Svoboda, Salvador Brotons and
Bryan Johanson, all well known composers, teach there. I'm not sure if
there is a degree program in comp there yet, but if your supporting area
is composition, this is well worth looking into.
