Thanks Don. From the general tone of this forum I thought that
there must have been something wrong with me in delighting in
Stolzmann. I too always found classical clarinet Dull. Then
Stolzmann electrified me too! Mainly because it had some subtle
vibrato and passion in it, I think, which in my very sparse
listening I had not come across before in classical clarinet.
