Hmmm, I think I'd shop at a different music store then. I've been using
Yamaha swabs for the 14 years I've been playing the clarinet and have never
had any problems with them. They're easily long enough, they absorb well,
and they last for a long time. Every one I've ever purchased as been
$8.00. I don't know where they get off trying to sell one for $21.00,
unless it's some kind of fancier swab that I've never seen. Perhaps try
mail order? Hope this helps.
