Nancy, almost every list has a switch that can be set by the poster
but, by general consensus, the initial position is "OFF." This
switch condition (and there are many such switches, I speak of only
one) has to do with sending a poster's mail back to that person.

By convention, this is not generally done. In order to make it happen,
you must change that switch by sending a note to the listserv of that
system and, using a very precise syntax and grammar, make the change.

You need to get a HELP file from the listserv of the system that supports
KLARINET and then slowly figure out how to do what needs to be done.

I don't want to give specific advice because, although I did this on
KLARINET a year or more ago, I have forgotten how and don't want to
screw things up for you.

It is not hard. It simply requires a little study to figure out how
to do it.
