The Carter is a VERY cool (in my opinion) piece. Oddly enough, I've
played it several times in front of audiences I thought wouldn't be too
favorably disposed towards it, but it was surprisingly well-recieved. If
you have the time (can you say "20 minutes of rehersal PER BAR"?), it's
an effective piece.
