Music judges people, people don't judge music.

Thats the general idea of a famous quote I heard.

We judge music from our own predudice. Music is bigger than that. Our
opinions are based on our concept. In nothern India classical music is
improvised.
Freedom of spirit is not inherantly legit or jazz.

Many times pidgeonholeing a musician is simply a way to protect ourselves
from learning more and expanding our own individual horizons. We probably
all have been guilty of the practice at one time or another.

We are all doing the best we can. Lets consider each musician both famous,
student and journyeman on his/her own merits. on their unique contribution to
the project and hand.

In an ideal world a musician could play any syle at any time. Perhaps we
should strive for the ideal.

There are many musicians that can bridge musical gaps. It's one of the joys
of the 20th century. Lets wallow in it.

Mike
