This morning driving to work I heard the start of the Weber Andante and
Hungarian Rondo for Bassoon -- but wait! a clarinet plays the solo!!
All I caught at the end was the recording was made with the Brooklyn Phil.

So: Anyone know this transcription? Same key as original? Is it published?
Comments on how successful you think it as a clarinet piece...
Who was that clarinet player?

I better drink my coffee now, it was quite a shock during unusually heavy
traffic :-)
