Yesterday I received the Vandoren Selection Guide and Technical Reference
Brochure from somebody working with Leblanc Holland. Apparently this brochure
is not widely available, regarding recent questions about the Profile 88 line
of mouthpieces.

The only text in the brochure about the 'Profile 88' is as follows:

Start of quotation

Traditional beak & "Profile 88"
The only difference between the "Traditional" and "Profile 88" mouthpieces is in
the exterior angle of the beak.
Therefore the musician is free to choose the model which suits his purpose in
terms of best playing position, easiest sound emission, greatest playing comfort
and the most controllable and precise articulation.

End of quotation

Interesting news for all you Americans is a new line of 'American Pitch'
mouthpieces, the '13' series, and even two mouthpieces specially made for the
American market.

If lots of people are interested, I can put the whole technical reference text
on the Klarinet list.

Greetings
