I'm back now, having been on tour with the Vancouver Wind Trio for six
weeks, 11,500 miles, and 19 concerts. Quite an itinerary... by the end I
felt like I could hardly play. (But I did anyway :-)

Many thanks to whoever suggested using hydrogen peroxide to rejuvenate old
reeds- it was highly beneficial, especially since none of the new reeds I
took along ever worked very well. Hardly surprising since we had virtually
no time to work on them, and when we did we'd be playing the next show in
a different climate zone. (East coast, high desert, sea level desert, west
coast, mountains, coastal rain forest...)

Now back to bass clarinet with the Thunder Bay Symphony for the Poulenc
Gloria and Strauss Four Last Songs. Hope my old reed works...
