This works *only* if your torso is precisely the right height. I did this
for years to relieve the pressure on my right hand from supporting the
clarinet, and my physical therapist made me stop, as it caused *me* to
round over my back, thus overstretching the problem muscles even more.

Then there's the issue of blocking the E-B and F-C twelfths with one's knees.
