Justin,

I happen to be doing my DMA thesis on the Copland Concerto. If you need
some bibliographic sources, I'm a good person to ask! (E-mail me
privately if you would like some ideas for sources). Some people have
suggested looking at different performances of the work. As a matter of
fact, that is precisely what I am doing for my thesis. It is a very
controversial piece intepretation -wise. My favourite recording is the
1963 version with Benny Goodman and Copland conducting. By the way,
does anyone have any info on how to get hols of the recording they made in the
1950's?? I am
having a heck of a time locating it. If your paper isn't already due,
please feel free to e-mail me with any questions; I am still in the early
stages of my research so I can't promise I have all the answers!
