Does anyone know the logic for why Selmer changed its low note fingering
system on the low C models?

My understanding is that there was an old model which had three RH thumb
keys (along with a low E-flat adjacent to the low E), and then a model
which moved things around (two RH thumb keys and a low E-flat adjacent to
the low F). Is the model they sell now any different?
