And while we're at it, there are also two clarinet openings in the United
States Coast Guard Band in New London, CT. Auditions are on June 21, and
tapes are being accepted now for preliminaries.

Advantages:

FULL-TIME GIG
Enter at E-6 pay grade
Full congressional band (there are only five in the U S)
High quality musicianship.
Travel (but not too much. 2-3 two week tours per year)
No basic training.
(Sorry, no bonus)
Location is 1/2 way between Boston, MA and New York City.
