Since I am the one that posted the message about anchor tonguing, I should
explain. Anchoring means to tongue with the middle section of your tongue.
It's almost like bending your tongue downwards and tonguing with the part that
is exposed to the mouthpiece. the tip of the tongue is folded against the back
of your lower teeth. The main point is that you get a technique which does not
works as well when you need to articulate your tonguing very fast which is the
problem for me. It's something you do not want to pick up like "Neil" said if
you plan to play in orchestras in the professional level unless you jst want to
give a try. Was that sufficient?
