Don: I appreciate what you are saying about the use of MIDI to work with
intonation.

I have a series of 139 original treble clef MIDI duets which were written to
teach rhythm and ensemble (they progress from very easy to very difficult,
and each chapter prepares the student for the next chapter).

To my surprise, they have worked out so well as intonation exercises, that I
included one duet which has a two octave chromatic scale in each voice.

You can practice unisons, octaves, 5ths, etc., etc., etc.,

If you are interested, I'll send you a brochure which includes four of the
duets. If you indicate which computer you use, I might be able to send you
some MIDI files of those four duets so you can import into a sequencer and
try them out.
