Years ago When I was working on my flute intonation I found it very
helpful to make a MIDI sequence of pieces I was working on and
practice with a synthesizer. You can vary the tempo any way you like
and really work on those troublesome notes and phrases.
I just ordered my first clarinet and this is how I will work on
intonation for it.

I have a copy of Finale on a 486 PC and a Roland sound canvas (lots
of well done instrument samples). With a set up like this you could
enter your quintet scores into Finale and play them back through the
sound canvas at a slow tempo during rehearsal and really force
everyone into correct pitch. This might not make you very popular
though because a MIDI sequence is very unforgiving. Also, MIDI
sequences have a tendency to sound rather mechanical, you lose all of
the variation of tempo and pitch that actually make music interesting
to listen to. (Listen to current pop music most of it is just MIDI
sequenced and it sounds like sh*t)

Hope this helps
