I do not wish to sound pedestrian, changing the topic from interesting
anatomical discussions to minor technical problems, but I would
appreciate advice for a good neck strap for playing the bass clarinet.
The one that came with my Selmer student model slips all the time and one
has to constantly adjust it. It is one of a series of dissapointments
with workmanship of this horn. I also do not understand why they even
bother to make the plastic Bundy mouthpiece that came with it; it is
simply junk. In any case, advice would be appreciated.
