Subj: Vito VSP or used pro model?

Hi again
My last message was getting pretty long and this is a different
subject anyway.
I mentioned my instrument budget got a boost. I can afford either of
the b.c's in my last message AND a soprano clarinet.
I'm considering a new vito VSP it's wood with, I believe, essentially
the same bore dimensions and tone hole placement of an R13, (I may be
wrong about that) and to quote Lee Gibson from the May/June 1991
issue of The Clarinet
" ... tones that are hardly distinguishable from those of the
illustrious R13. ... at pitches which are in no way inferior ...
the wood used is of the highest quality, the fraising is excellent,
and the key work is precisely fitted."

I think he liked it.

I can afford it!

But, I would guess a rebuilt pro model could be had for close to the
same money. However, I wouldn't know what to look for or where to
look, and it would probably be somewhat of a hassle and I am REAL
busy these days.

Any advise or opinions?

My warmest thanks
-Don
