The other night I wevt to hear YOrk Symphony orchestra perform MOzart's
Clarinet Concerto with Alan Hacker. He is very famous in Europe, but I
thought I should tell you all about him. He was in the LSO and others
until he was paralysed. He does a lot of playing with Orchestras as a
soloist now and he is amazing. HE plays it on a restpred basset clarinet
from the tome of Mozart, but don't quote me on anything, I've lost my
programme and This is just what I can remember. I will write more later
but homework beckons....
I was so impressed-Iwas amazed.
